THE WORTHY HEIRLOOM
LEGACY COMMISSION
When the story becomes inseparable from the object
A Legacy Commission is selected when provenance, material, authorship, time, or circumstance create an identity that cannot simply be commissioned again.
Its value is not based on scarcity alone.
It comes from the fact that reproducing the object would not reproduce the story.
A story that cannot be repeated.
